FEA Ministries
1947
H. Robb French, a Wesleyan Methodist evangelist, founded the Florida Evangelistic Association in 1947 in Hobe Sound, Florida. He purchased twenty-eight acres of wild wetlands just one mile from the Atlantic Ocean. French; his wife, Geraldine; his sister Frances; and James and Ella Zuch together served winter residents by carving out a campus to provide a camp meeting and housing in South Florida.
1960s
In the 1960s additional adjoining property was purchased, doubling the size of the campus.
1992
In 1992 the organization shortened its name to FEA Ministries.
TODAY
Today FEA Ministries is the parent organization of Hope International Missions, Sea Breeze Community, and Sea Breeze Camp. Partner ministries Hobe Sound Bible Church and Hobe Sound Bible College and Christian Academy share the campus and work together with FEA to make disciples for Christ.
FEA Ministries adheres to the conservative Wesleyan-Arminian doctrinal position but is not affiliated with any denomination.
